Change of words

Recently in Japan, many adults claim that the number of young people, who use bad and wrong words and grammers, is increasing, and they should speak "right" Japanese. However, it's very difficult to define "right", because it's common that words or useage of words change, if time change. So, it's very natural that young people talk a bit differently from adults do. Young people have the rights they talk as they want in some degrees, though it's better to use good and polite words. In short, Japanese young people should be careful in their choice of words according to circumstances.

Rainy Season

In June, it rains for about 20 days in Japan. However it rains little this year! A weather forecaster says that this summer will be very long and very hot. We wlii suffer from the short of water this summer. This is because of the global warming?

The Heat Wave

The heat wave struck the southern part of Europe. The death toll from the heat wave climbed to twenty six. According to the news agency of ANSA, the temperature was above forty degrees in progression during the four days in Sicilia of Italia. The source of heat wave is global warming. we must think this problem more seriously and try to prevent global warming.

Global Warming

Recently, there are many environmental problems in our world. Above all things, global warming is a big and important problem. And global warming can be solved. It is important to tackle it in country’s or local government’s scale. Part of connecting world effort and individual is country’s or local government’s policy. These days many kinds of projects for this problem are done in many places. For example, according to the website of JCCCA, in Melbourne, Australia, a project has been done since 2003. It has been called Walking School Bus. When children go school or go back to their home, they use a bus which is composed of a conductor and a driver without real bus. There are also bus stops. To put in shortly, two people who are volunteers take children to and from the school. It is good examples, and all country should make policy which suit people living there. Global warming is a big problem for people, but it takes long time to affect our environment, so people don’t try to solve it hard. According to the website of JCCCA, the temperature will rise 1.8 to 4.0 degree warmer if this problem can’t be solved. And it will cause many problems. But people can solve it with efforts.

Firework

Now it is middle of summer. This months, firework held many places. Maybe you will go some events. Firework is symbol of summer and we have enjoyed it since old days. Its origin is China and the original form was a firecracker. In Edo era, fireworks came in Japan with Teppou and Ieyasu Tokugawa enjoy watching them. The good point is we can see them everywhere. Fireworks is round, so we can see a same form anywhere we are. Why don't you go to firework event?

NHK subscription fee

NHK announced that they persuade people who don't pay fee for NHK through a summary court. They already did it in Tokyo and Kanagawa, so it will expand to other area. For me, actually I didn't pay fee....sorry. Whenever a staff of NHK come to my house, I pretend to be out! Are you paying for NHK?

The Star Festival

Japan has five seasonal festival, the Boy's Festival on May 5, the Girl's Festival on March 3 and so on. One of this, there is the Star Festival on July 7. This event's history is very old and it has been held since Nara era. It is said that the two stars which are in both ends of the Galaxy meet once a year on July 7 and if we wish a dream to the stars, it comes true. We write our wish on oblong card and tie up it with bamboo leaf. This is a very romantic custom. Now I wonder what I will wish.

Orange box

You may be see orange boxes in a town, school and so on. The name of it is AED. Every one can use it for helping someone whose heart stops. It can give the person electronic shocks. Introducing it in general is an epoch-making thing. As a result people, who are rescued by using AED is seven times as the other one, who are given chest compression. If you can have a courage to use it, then you may be able to help someone's life.

contact lens

Do you wear contact lens? I don't wear it. I want to get it. Contact lens is very useful because we don't need to wear the glass. We can do everything without minding our glass. But to wear contact lense has high lisk for our eyes. Lens touches to cornea directly, so cornea tends to be injured anytime. And our life is apt to be irregular, so maybe someone forget to put off his contact. That's very dangerous!! If you are using contact lens, please use right way.

The 2014 winter Olympic host county was decided Russia soti in July 4.soti is hot plase. therefore it is worried what too hot to hold. This is first winter Olympic in Russia. I thought Russia is snow country. and very strong country in winter sports. therefore when I heard it, I surprised.

World peace

Recentry, I read a book about war. After I read a book, I thought seriously about war. War is terrible. War leaves only sadness and pain. I think that people all over the wrld should cooporate with each other. Because we are same human being. We should talk with a lot of people all over the world. So we can share various people's sense of values. I hope world peace strongly.

Food Safety

Recently, injustice of the Meet hope company was uncovered. Beef that they sold was in fact mixture of beef and pork. In addition, they used rainwater to thaw meat and it is very scared. We believe the quality of food we eat is good, but is it really good? We have many problems about food. For example, is genetically modified food good for our health? Of couece not. Because it may include unreliable elements. I think many food companies should have responsibility with food they sell and label the package of the food and show us distinctive marking of it.

Enviromental pollution and China

In recent years, China's economic growth is getting high. A lot of factorys are established and peoples work hard in china. However,China also has big problem. It is the enviromental pollution. Factorys discharge a lot of carbon dioxide, dioxin and any other harmful things into air. A few decades ago, Japan was same circumstance. We must not have same mistake again. What can we do to protect the earth enviroment?

The mobilephone can connect to the internet, now. In Japan, the novel which we can read on the internet is popular. 『KOIZORA』 which is the novel in the internet in mobilephone. And then , that book is selling over 1,000,000 books! Why many people read mobilephone's novel? I think it is easy to read and mobilephone is very close to our life. Furthermore, that novel's story is tend to sympathy for us. It is good for us who don't have mush time to read the book.

TOYOTA

The car made by Toyota came in 2nd place by the new car sales ranking in the United States. The first place was General Motors. The consumer seems to have chosen the fuel-efficient car by the sudden rise of gasoline etc. It is glad that the company in Japan is taking an active part in the world.

Strange thief

A strange thief was arrested yesterday. He sneaked into restaurants and ate different foods arbitrarily. Besides this, he cook with using ingredients in the restaurants. He testified "I was hungry.". He stole chocolates which is employee's snacks, too. First, I was surprised to hear the news, then I laughed.

Good for Earth?

Recently, mass media are fanning that bio fuel is good for Earth. A lot of people believe this word, How about you? Actually, CO2 which exhausted by bio fuel are smaller than fossil fuel's it. But do you know that vast forest cut down to make bio fuel's material, corn, sugar cane and so on? Is this good for Earth? In addition, bio fuel's power is smaller than fossil fuel's it. So, we use fuel which mixed gasoline with bio fuel. Bio fuel's proportion is only about two percent. Is this so good for Earth? I don't think so, how about you?

The mirror chamber

The mirror chamber in the Versailles Palace was finished the restoration. The operation continued for 3years. As a result it make up for the sparkle. I want to go to see there in summer vacation. It has been opened to public since 27th last month. I think that many people will go there.

They plan to forest nineteen thousand of trees. This action planting trees held one of Japanese major company of supe market and peking city. The private enterprise struggled the emviromental issu. Our chance taking part in volunteer is decreasing.
