Global Issues 1
"Ninety-nine percent of maternal deaths occur in developing countries, with more than half occurring in Africa. In many poor African countries, on mother dies for every 100 children born."
This is a statistic of Maternal Mortality.
I get this information from miniatlas of Millennium Development Goals.
Maternal death means that woman die in pregnancy or childbirth.
I have not known that larges number of mother, especially in Africa, face to the dangerous and terrible condition.
I am female. And I hope to have babies in the future.
Is the problem far from us?
Not only women but also men should know the facts worldwide.
