Japan will buy greenhouse gas emission quotas
Japanese government decides to buy greenhouse gas emission quotas from Hungary. Japan pays Hungary 20billion yen for getting right to release 1000ton of greenhouse gas. This kind of trading is called emission trading. It is allowed in Kyoto Protocol. However, I think it is not good system. Can rich countries keep on reducing a lot of greenhouse gas because these countries pay big money? Environmental issues are not problems which can be solved with money. For real solution of global warming, development countries which account for high percent of greenhouse gas exhaust must work on reduction of greenhouse gas.
