War and Christmas

A New People's Army (the military affairs organization of the Philippine Communist Party) seems to carry out Christmas cease-fire of four days from 24th. In addition, the Philippine government seems to accept a longer cease-fire if they satisfy a constant condition. It was assumed that Mr. Press Officer grego Rio of CPP did not "add attack for government troop while I celebrated a holiday" and told that I "protected a cease-fire for four days on January 1 on 31st on 25th for 24 days". The Philippine nation's armed forces are in the Christmas standdown of three weeks originally from this month 16. Although they continue a fight for 38 years, nation's armed forces and the New People's Army protect the custom of the cease-fire of this time every year. There seems to be a break called Christmas for war to do not seem to be over.
