Chinese toys influenced on American economy

According to the research of American companies, 24%of American customers will reduce budget of Chiristmas present compared to last year. The cause of this reducing is the voluntary recall of toys made in China. In USA, most of toys are made in China, thus Chinese toys had a major impact on this reducing of budget. I was surprised that China could influence on American economy by such a way. I also realized that China became important for many developed countries' economy. But I also think China must know about it's role in international relations and should abstain shameful actions such as selling pirated edition. What do you think about this article?
