Foreign Labors

NOVA’s teachers established new English school. They taught English after NOVA bankrupted as volunteer. A student of NOVA was impressed with them and invested in new school. When I read this article, I remembered the bad situation for foreign labors in Japan. Many people is working at factories doing subcontract working in low cost. They are sometimes discriminated. Some of them can not speak Japanese, and they cheated their salary or they cannot insure their lives. Many women are working as prostitutes. A Philippine young woman said that she wanted to resign the job but she couldn’t because there is no another job. NOVA’s native teachers lost jobs after the scandal, and many of them are still finding new job. There are many other foreign labors in Japan who are in bad conditions. We must not forget these people.
