from NZ

from 3 march, i homestayed in auckland, and tomorrow, 24 is the departing day... though it was only 3 weeks, and i couldn't look around auckland, i'm sure i had a great time. to sum up, this trip was satisfying, however, there were some annoying or irritating things. the most thing i was surprised was foods... almost all of the NZ foods were too strong taste,like too salty, too sweet, usually unhealthy. Of course sometimes i got to miss japanese food, i dropped into some japanese restaurant, almost all of them were NZ's japanese food... to my astonishment, clerks were quite different from japan. Rude, compared with japan, for they are working chewing gum,often no smile, far from polite. it was big cultural shock for me. on the other hand, i found there were a lot of warm-hearted people. even stranger, people frequently greeted. also, i really enjoted the school life; learning english, i made friends with various countries' people, and i learned some foreigh words. this spring vacation was pretty nice. as for the nature, i have nothing to say... much cleaner than tokyo. today, 23, there is a rugby match in auckland. of course i'm going, and i'm sure i'll have an exciting time!
