The survey shows that 90 % of Japanese people want to regulate harmful site which influence to children by government. From this survey, we can understand that almost people wanto to hold a flood of harmful information. Actually, I sometimes feel bad while net surfing, so I hope government do some action about it.

Nowadays, many food shops(even famous food shops) are charged because they deceive custommers by committing injustice such as camouflage of best before end. Even if we eat such foods comitted in justice, we will not die or come down with illness. So I donont think we have to care about it so seriously, but telling lies are not allowed because customers pay money for products. Therefore I think food shops must be honest toward thier customers.

Trouble of rotational play machine

Oct 25, large rotational play machine had trouble in Hokkaido. The machine stopped emergently. Then,two women riding on it were left with the machine at the height of about 30 meters from the ground. Although they were rescured without geting any injury, they were in the sky 30 long minutes. What a terrible time for them! I cannnot imagin their fear during the time. I think they will never ride rotational play machine from now on. Their mental should be cared in order not to suffer the fear. The cause is not clear yet. All of the amusement park have to check machines any time because accidents like this have the potential to cause the death of guests. If the accident with death happens, it would lead to lose confidence of the amusement park.

The cost of the oil are raising which affects our living in many situations. For example, in my house, we started to reduce using our car to drive far distance. Not only the oil but even the electricity and gas costs are going higher, one that I read this morning said. This is because we use oil to produce everything that it highlights our reliance towards oil. I believe we cannot make a living without oil since we depend on it too much that it can devastate our economy. I believe that the recent raise in the cost of produce has a lot in common to the oil raise. This is because, again, we consume our most convenient resource, oil for wrapping, and transporting. When it comes to think of the renuable energy, we still have to be concerned with the high-cost of the new resource,for example, corn for bio-combustion energy. I maintain that we have to somehow find various kinds of resources so that we can share all to not raise each cost. Adding to this point, I believe it is desireble that we can decide which to consume for each one so that the efficency will increase.

I have read an articl in a news paper about Japanese death penalty. Japan is one of the minority countries which still excutes death penalty. In the article, Amnesty international, a group that opposes death penalty, criticized Japanese law system of punishment. They said Japan should ban the capital punishment because 1:death penalty is the worst punishment and it violates the suspect and its family's human rights, 2:other developped countries such as E.U. countries have already banned death penalty. I think this topic is very sensitive and controversial but I cannot accept the idea of Amnesty International. Each societies and culture has its own values and idea of the truth and it influences the idea of punishment too. There was also a survay that said more than half of Japanese people support death penalty in the article. When we discuss about death penalty, we should regard our values too.

False chain mails are spread between mothers of children. The mails say that a little child was attacked in the big supermarket, so send this mail to another mothers, for example. In the age that many children are killed or attacked, this kind of false mail should not be sent.

13 years boys are in prison

In America, 2225 children who are under 18 years are in prison for life imprisonment. In these children, there are 73 children who are 13 or 14 years. Some human rights association appeal that children should be given one more chance. I think this is a very difficult problem because if they are given one more chance, they may commit a crime again, but life imprisonment is too barbarous for 13 or 14 years children I think. Honestly, I don't know this is right or wrong, but I hope parents should have affection to children to grow up normally . Crime of children is social problem and cause of such problem should be studied.

The death of a famous japanese architect.

Few days ago, a famous japanese architect, Kisyou Kurokawa passed away. Today I watched documentary about him on TV which was recorded before he died. Not only as an architect, he standed for Parliament though he lost the election. In the campaign speech, his outstanding performance became the focus of criticism. Actually his action was so strange but he was a man of grate phisical, so I was surprised to know his death. Today I actually felt his talent again to see his works of art on TV. I think his name and his works will be praised forever and I pray for the repose of his sole.

Airplane × Mobile phone

Do you like to go abroad? I like very much but when I thought that I want to go abroad, I must usually use the airplane and keep still in there for a long time. Also I think it is boring so I want to enjoy that time. However, EU countries may solve this problem so I want to talk about this, today. In a plane, we can listen to music and radio but we will soon be tired of them so I think it is the best solution to talk with someone delightfully in there. In addition, I don’t like to ride on airplane because I am acrophobia so I want to avoid fear through talking with people. Therefore, EU companies will solve this problem because they will enable to use cellular phones in their planes. If you want to use during plane flying, we can use this so we can avoid boring from talking with friends. It is very good for us, I think.

To go to Kagoshima, we can go there by Shinkansen in 4 hours which is an hour faster than before. I think it is really useful for people who lives other city like tokyo apart from their hometown to go back there!

A boy in the third grade of elementary school was taken up with the escalator in the supermarket near my house the other day .This boy was unconscious critical now, and this accident was taken up on a large scale by the newspaper and the television news. Recently, the accident in the escalator happens frequently around the child. Even if it is convenient transportation for adults, but it is very scary for children. Achievement Test carried out in Japan

Ministry of Education practiced the achievemnt test for the first time in the blank of 43 years which made me not upset as I expected. I was glad to hear that the elementary school students are doing much better regardless of yutori education since the test showed that students have ability to answer basic problems. However I think that schools have to do some catch up on the ability of application because there were 20 points difference between the points of the basic and appicated test for elementary school students.(10 points for elementary students) However I believe that we still have difference between students going to cram school and those who are not, children living in urban cities and those living in countryside. Eventually these difference leads to a social difference. Therefore I think we should make our educational system more harder since students have foundation in their brain so that many students can learn more complicated matters which will reduce difference in the future.

A sumo restler died suddenly, after his bout at sumo restling. They talked alot about this incident on the news. Today, it was found out that the police had'nt checked properly if the dead restler was killed in a criminal case or not when his body was brought to hospital. I think Japanese police is too unaware of things. They think that there are hardly any big crimes will occur. Not just the police but we too also need to be aware of things.

Victims of the earthquake

Though three months have passed since the earthquake happened in Niigata, 3000 people are still forced to live in temporary housing. They have to live with a lot of difficulties because it is becoming winter. About 24% of them are elderly people who live alone or just only two people. Surely many people and companies are donating, but it is not enough for victims to return to the lives before the earthquake. When another earthquake happened in Niigata three years ago, people who lived in temporary housing suffered from much snow and cold. They had to remove the snow from the roofs of the houses. Many people especially elderly people had difficulties with this. I wish that a lot of volunteers help them this winter learning a lesson from the earthquake which happened three years ago.

Yesterday I watched the news about North Korea on TV, and I was surprised to see the circimstanses in Pyongyang not because of its terrible life but because of its development of the market. In the past, there was a rationing system there. However as the system declined becouse of the poverty of the country, people started to sell some products to make money for their lives. Nowadays many people open their branch stores whicih sell clothing, groceries, accessories and so on. So there are a lot of branches on the street. I think the development of the market will make North Korea's politics clean. So I hope North Korea's govrment will not control or prohibit citizens' action and people in the country will be able to act more as they want to...

A forth grade in elementary school stopped 2 trains.

In the morning of 14th, 2 trains were urgently stopped because one boy pressed an emergency button. He was a forth grade student in elementary school. He said that he did this as a mischief. The two trains stopped for 4-6 minutes, and nobody was injured fortunately. I think that he is old enough to know what he should not do. His parents should tell him what an emergency button is for and how bad the thing he did was. One thing which was good about this news was that there was nobody hurt.

Today, I watched "Bankisha" and there was a feature program about Shoplifting which is to steal something from store. A man who works at convenience store for 7 yeas said that he has caught shoplifters more than 100 people. These days, it is said that young people who shoplift are incleasing. Last week, there was a news that a boy who is 19 years old did shoplift and when he was caught by clerk the boy killed him just because he did not want to be caught by police. I think it is very sad that people shoplift even cheap stuff. We seriously have to think nice ideas how to prevent shoplifting.

Today the doctor who gave away the information about the boy who set fire to his house to kill his father was arrested. This event appeared because one writer published the book about this boy although this case has not be settled yet. And in this book, there is some information which it was impossible for her to know. According to the new paper, the doctor said, " Because she asked me to give information again and again, I gave her the informaion about this event." When I read this, I could't believe it. I think even though we have the right to know, this kind of information have to be keep as a secret to protecet the right of privacy.

The other case is about a man who made a web site to help people commit suicide and practically helped a woman commit suicide. I think there are too many cases related to the Internet in today's society. Actually I also have my own home page of a web site. Though today's people can use and make web site easily, I think we have to be so much careful all the time when we use it.

Today, A cleaning robot named Roomba is very famous all over the world. Roomba has been developed and produced by iRobot coorporation in America, and there are many Roombe users. And then, one research turned out the fact that 21 out of 30 useres give their Roombas names, and 16 out of 30 users call them not "it" but "he" or "she". It means that many users treat them as pets. In addition, some users enjoy to make them dress up with chamgable covers, others introduce them to parents. I think the busy stations are very danger because some people move selfish. Although the slide doors of trains don't open, someone push from back of the queues. Next, someone push into the queues for the moving stairways or steps. There is danger to happen domino topplings accidents. In another point, some people suddenly stop walking and suddenly turning. It can cause collisions.If that people is cars, it will be crashes and traffic accidnt. Racing drivers drive the cars thinking other drivers, so there are a few crashes relatively in spite of high speed driving.We need more etiquette in busy stations.

Recently, prices of foods and other everyday products have risen. The rise in wheat prices is paticulary outstanding, and this is caused by the droughter in Australia and increasing demand of corns for bio-fuel. Therefor, the big companies take the initiative in raising up the prices. I'm pleased to accept it because I have been thinkng that the price of the food is too low in Japan. The price of food in Japan is very low not only because of the deflation but also the trend that the consumer choose cheap food too much. It is nutural for the consumer to seek cheaper product, but recent trend has causing trouble. In order to supply cheap product, the companies sometimes use inferior materials. Are they really safety? I don't think so. Cold meat company "Meat- Hope", criticized beacouse they sold fake meatball. The head of the company said "the consumers who seek the cheap food also have responsibility". In concludion, the general trend toward cheap food should be changed. We should pay suitable money for certain quality product or we will have a hell of a time someday.

The driver who ran a bus was caught for speeding. This is an unbelievable case. If an accident was taking place, the passenger of some was caught up in the accident and must have become serious. He paid a penalty of 25,000 yen for it by himself after all. I want him to understand that it is work to take the life of the person. What do you think ?

iPod and Stone

The girl of 14 years old to live in the State of Texas was given iPod from her father by birthday present. However, a stone entered not iPod when she opened it. Her father demanded returned goods, but the shop side is refused. He purchased iPod again unwillingly. However, the contents were stones again. He demand returned goods again. However, the shop side refused return of goods. And the shop side did not do the apology either. This is not forgiven. I think this incident is a problem in the shop side obviously. I think the shop wants to manage the article properly.

I found an interesting (funny?) article. It says that the contest of being punctual was hold in Cote d'Ivore. The aim of this contest is to have people think being late influence economic. An award-giving ceremony was took on EXACTLY 8pm, Oct 6th there and 9 of excellent business man and public officers got awards. Young people do not make payment for national pension recently

The social insurance agency stated that only 40% out of 25~29 aged people make payment of national pension in 2006. Rate is getting lower as the ages get lower. In my opinion, I think it is not fair that some people make payment regularly, but others are not. However, I think the governmental officers also have faults that they spent money which is for national pension illegaly.

As you know, Japan is famous for Manga. Some people thinks manga has negative infuluence on young people or manga causes children not to read books. But now, manga is real Japanese culture and it has many positive aspects. Recently, "manga cafe" is getting popular in France and there are various "Tankobon" of manga. French people can know about Japan through reading manga. So manga is a right tool to let people to know about Japan. A French woman said " I know the Japanese life and some problems in Japan such as the entrance examination war or bullying by manga. After I read manga, I got interest in Japan". Manga is a reliable souce of information about Japan.

Monet Was Hurt.

Oct. 8th, a work of Monet, one of the most famous painters in the world, was hurt. The work "The Bridge at Argenteuil" is said that it is so great that people cannot value. About 10cm length damage was made by criminals. Criminals were composed of four boys and a girl who had got dead drunk. Soon after they enterd Orsay musium where the work was kept, they noticed alarm and quickly run away from there. It is infered that they attacked the picture while they were fleeing. They are still nor captured. I think that it is so evil and childish behavior. Extended economic sanctions

Japanese government decided that they will extend economic sanctions against North Corea for half an year.
This sanction was executed last October and this will lose effect in this 13th. So Japanese prime minister Fukuda decided to extend this. Reason is that the abduction problem between North Corea and Japan has not been solved. But other country like China and Corea, USA are getting moe and more generous toward North Corea. Then Japan is agout only country that never tryed to be loosen restraint. Is this be a cause of Japan that isolated from International society?

The nuclear power plant

About 700 photos of the nuclear power plant which was hit by the earthquake happened in Niigata were opened. The photos were taken immediately after the earthquake. They were opened because of a public information act. The photos showed drums from which radioactive wastes were leaked. They were pictures that Tokyo Denryoku didn’t open. Also, there were photos that showed the buildings which had cracks and drums from which low radioactive wastes were leaked because rids were gone. The man who asked to show the pictures said that we shouldn’t agree with the reopening of the nuclear power plant without enough thought and the pictures should be the materials to think about an earthquake and nuclear power plants. I thought that we should know the fact and the danger of radioactive waste and have much thinking of reopening. We shouldn’t decide easily because the problems are related to the life of us.

One day in January, a Chinese newscaster insisted that Chinese should make the shop close because they must keep a diversity of their culture like Japan, especially Kyoto. Then, Chinese people began to say "throw America out of Beijing!" without thinking like him, but thinking of only extreme nationalism. After all, the shop was closed, but he wasn't happy. Recently, Chinese people are often criticized that they depend on their instant ideas or emotions and have so extreme nationalism thinking. I think Chinese people should consider many kinds of things more flexible and from more points of view.

A policeman killed 6 people

A 20 age policeman in Wisconsin , USA , shot a gun at random , killed 6 people and fell in another policeman`s postol . 3 of killed people are high school students . Because one of the victims was a former girlfriend of the policeman , it is said that this incident had happened because their talk about breaking off their relationship was snarled up . I was little shocked to know this news . I think the policeman , whose duty is save people from danger did such killing because his broken heart , is very shameful . Similar incident had happened in Japan recently and a woman was killed by a policeman who stalked her . I think they must know what are their jobs and their duties .

Linear of China

In October, 2007, the linear motor railroad to links Longyang Road station to Shanghai Pudong International Airport exceeded 12,000,000 ridership since practice of December, 2003. This railroad is a super-high-speed railroad moving 30km in only 7 minutes 20 seconds. I understand China lays emphasis on not only the building but also traffic. I think Japan may receive the linear motor railroad age soon, too. I want to get on the linear motor railroad once.

There is no longer abduction victim.

In inter-Korean summit, Kim Jong Il, who is North Korean leader said that there is no longer Japanese abduction victims when Roh Moo-hyon, who is South Korean President asked Kim Jong Il to solve the abduction issue. Then, the solution of the abduction issue became more difficult. There are many family who hope abduction victims' return from North Korea. I hope that Japanese government takes a strong attitude toward South Korea and does the best to solve this issue.

A man died in a diving

Oct 6, a man died in Izu Oshima. When he practiced diving, he was thrown into a panic. Because this diving was the first time for him. The sea is so beautiful and it gives usentertainment. In the sea, We enjoy variety of activities. For example; swimming, surfing, crusing, bodyboarding,and diving. But at the same time, it becames so terrible and sometimes gives us some damage if we don't have appropriate knowledge and skills. I think it is a good business model for society because I think that business which requires only propits is out of date in 21th century. I hope social entrepreneur will increase more from now on.

Two boys killed a clerk in a convenience store

At a convenience store in Osaka, two juveniles killled a clerk. They were trying to stole bottles of beer from the store, and then the clerk noticed these two. He tried to catch them, and they killed him. This is a very sad news, because his act was nothing wrong. He just did what he shoud have done. If someone does something which is not right, people should warn him/her. I often hear news these days that someone did a bad thing, and there was a witness, then he/she killed the witness also. I think that those who kill a person think that they just need to kill a person if they do not like him/her. We now have to think about the preciousness of life again.

Collapsible bicycle's accident

Oct 5, Japanese Life Senter announced that it had 45 accidents about collapsible bicycle for the last 5 years. For example, pedals broke suddenly while riding and somebody fell down because of handle came off. They think it's because adjustment of weight, so please pay attention when you riding and don't add weight outside the pedal's.

The serialization of "HUNTER×HUNTER" reopened. These comics suspended the publishment from February, 2006. I do not understand the reason. But I waited for the reopening all the time. The older brother of twin brothers who are known for their nickname' Beto chan,Dock chan' in Jpan died 6th Oct. They were born 26 years ago with heavy disorder because of the Vietnam War . I saw the documentary about them on TV a few month ago, and knew that the older brother, Beto had had some trouble even after they had an operation to separate their body. Althogh many years have passed since the war was over, there are many people are still suffering because of it. I don't know why people try to take up arms even to know these facts. I hope all of the fights will be over in the near future and nobody wil be injured any more.

There was a topic of a strange amusement park in China several months ago. However, a new topic appeared here recently again. There are "McDonald" and "Kentucky" that is famous fast food shop also in Japan. Which do you like? To tell the truth, the fast food shop that combined the two is in that strange amusement park. It seems that the clerk is unmotivated and food is not delicious. I am disgusted to such an act of China.

Ms Megumi Yokota's Birthday

Today is Ms Megumi Yokota's birthday. and It is 30years since she was taken away from Japan to North Korea. I want to believe that she is alive there, but I can't help wondering whether she is safe and alive. I feel that there is less improvement of this problem recently, even Japanese prime minister changed. I really wish she would come back safely soon, and the relationship between Japan and North Korea would go well. Also in order to realize my hopes, I have to take this matter seriously.

Baby

Oct.5, a women dropped her new-born baby from the window. The baby is in hospital now and she is said to be safe. About 5 monthes has passed since a baby post started in Kumamoto, Japan. The post has saved many babies and infants and it also has given us a chance to think about the present situation of child care. But, I think the system of the society has not still changed. As you know, rasing children is really hard and we need a lot of help of people around us and society. For example, government need to help us more economically and make public institution for pregnant women. Change of society should reduce such a sad news.

Car is necessry for life now. So, car goes on evolving. I watched TV program of new generation car. The car turns the driver's seat and four tire turns individually. So, parking is very easy. Also, other car is very light. That car is make from reinforced plastic. So, very economical on gas. I think that if we go on asking new car, car goes on evolving too. Modern technology of car is great.

Refuel Operation in Indian Ocean

From my perspective, I believe it is important to continue participating in oil refuel activity. This is what most countries in Security Council agree with to fight for extiction of terrorism in last March. However, government has not been reached an agreement with eachother in negotiations. From the September 11th attack, we became sensitive to terriorism attacks. From then on, many countries have raised their danger level of security. We always get scared and terrified to incidents in other countries that are related to terrorism. I maintain that Japan should contribute to the international society if we are to fight against terrorism like other securities members. As US mentioned, they definately need the coorporation from Japan, or else it affects England, Pakistan and other countries' operation. This is not a domestic problem, it is international problem. Since Japan is the key here, we must participate for sustaining peace in international society. Self defence army plays an essential role for the security of the world; it will definately going to be the opportunity to exaggerate the contribution of our country, Japan.

Oct 5, a junior high school student(14 years old) was pierced with knife by a man(40 years old). Because some friends of the students witnessed the incident, a man was arrested. Although the student was in no danger of losing his life, no one can forgive the guilty person for his crime in any case. The student had no fault, and he was just walking with friends. 60 ｙｅａｒ ｏｌｄ ｓｉｎｇｌｅ ｗｏｍａｎ ｇｅｔs pregnant with fertilized egg donated in U.S.

A Japanese 60year old single woman got pregnent by getting fertilized egg in the U.S. hospital.The woman is in her 15 week pregnancy now. And it's going right. She came back to Japan. But in Japan there was no hospital to accept her because this woman is too old to born a baby. Fortunately she was accepted by Yahiro Netsu, head of the Suwa Maternity Clinic in Shimosuwa, Nagano Prefecture. This is the first time for a old single woman to carry a baby by being donated the fertilized egg. There was no example like this before. I think there are too many risk for this woman to deliver this baby. The first thing is that it is too dangerous for her body. Second, the baby is poor. This woman might die before the baby grows. Third, this way to make a baby is against the nature. The baby wouldn't look like her mother and might feel strange. But this woman seems to want a baby so much. I can't totally say it was not a good choice for her to deliver this baby.

The final of F-1 Japan Grand Prix were held in Fuji Speedway on September 30. Lewis Hamilton that was a new face driver got the first place. One of the World Rally Championship(WRC) stages will take place in Tokachi, Hokkaido on 26th-28th, Octobar, 2007. It's called "Rally Japan" as the nickname. There are some famous motor sports. Especially in Japan, most famous motor sports are played with 4 wheel cars. For example, Formula One, Indy Car, Super GT and so on. But WRC is minor also today. So, I want to show you "WHAT'S THE ATTRACTION OF WRC". Likely to the most of other rallies, WRC have tarmac (means on-load) and gravel (means off-load) section. Off course, there is some winner and loser. But there is NO chasing cars. Because WRC adopt time attack system. You know, it may bore you. But the drivers are always fighting with invisible rivals who have better time than him. The finish time is everything. But you can finish to the goal, even if you crashed and repaired the car. So, all of the WRC drivers play a dual role, which is good driver and mechanic. The more attractive, you & me can buy a car as the original of WR car!!

an Japanese famous jarnalist was shot by a soldier in Myanmar.

At 24th Sep, about hudred thousand Buddhist priests in Myanmar demonstrated against a military government. the government oppressed the priests by using arms. Many people have injured, including Mr.Nagai, a Japanese famous jarnalist. He was shot by one of soldiers from near distance. He went to dangerous places such as Afghanistan to tell the serious situation to Japanese people. His colleagues feel so sad and says that he was a grate man who always try to seek the truth. I also feel sorry to hear the news. Althogh I can know the situation around the world because of people like him, I've not care very much before the case happen. I think all of Japanese peolpe have to respect and appreciate him.

The Inter-Korean Summit

The Inter-Korean summit was held in Pyongyang, North Korea after 7 years. Roh Moo-hyun walked across a border for the first time as a President. And Kim Jong-il received the guests from South Korea in Pyongyang. In this summit they seem to talk about the North Korea nuclear problem mainly. Then they aim to adopt "the declaration of peace of Two Koreas."

The eighth baby put in the baby post in Kumamoto

Since the news that the Japan's first baby post was set in Kumamoto has settled down, we do not hear much about the baby post these days. I was surprised to see the web page saying that the eighth baby was put in the baby post in Kumamoto in the end of last month. While I was curious about other news, eight babies were already abondoned by their parents. I think that it is a very big number. We need to find solutions for this situation immediately.

Thousands rally in Okinawa against changing textbooks

In Okinawa, thousands of people rellaid against changing textbooks. The government decided to cut the mention in the textbooks to the forced mass suicide of thousands of Okinawa civilians during WWⅡ. I think that this mention must not be cut. We have to know the real misery of the war. In order to protect our peace and stop the war, we should not forget the battle in Okinawa and pass the fact from generation to generation.

In the ceremony, she looked displeasure from beginning to end, and just said a few words. Many commentator complained about her behavior. If she is a professional and had a sense of responsibility for her job, she couldn't act like that. But it's not only said to her matter. In these days, many people are seem to lack behaving and responsibility, like the cabinet ministers resign from the post in this few months.

"Group Suicide"deleted from textbook

110,000 citizens living in Okinawa protested against Minisrty of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology for erasing the account of Japanese army who forced many Japanses people to have group suicide. Governor Nakai mentioned that from the evidence of survivors of the group suicide that grenade were handed and many screams were heard among people, we cannot deny relationship between group suicide and Japanese army. However Ministry said that they followed the decision given in the council not to teach the children false information and to avoid misunderstanding about WW2 while this new evidence has not been reassured. I think this is a serious problem. In past, Japan had conflict between China for eliminating Nankin Massacre from Japanese textbook. We must tell children what had happened in times they do not know because it is our history that our ancestors lead to us. Japanese policy against Myanmar.

The situation in Myanmar is getting worse day by day, and the demostrators and Myanmar's military finally clashed. Some people died in the clash including Japanese journalist. While Europe and America conducted economic sanctions on Myanmar, Japan has been supporting the country because the govenment wanted to be friendly with Myanmar. Japanese gorvenment provides about three bilion yen per year. Now, those Japan's support has drawn criticism. Many people say that it is punishment that to stop the Myanmar's military. Well, I don't think so. Japan has been maintaining good relationship with Myanmar after establishing diplomatic relations. Because of the economic support, Japan is one of the strong influential countrys for Myanmar, so gorvenment can nagotiate with Myanmarese gorvenment. Sometimes, nagotiation could have strong power than panishment. I wish Japanese gorvenment to use that connection well rather than pressure such as sanction.
