Thousands rally in Okinawa against changing textbooks

In Okinawa, thousands of people rellaid against changing textbooks. The government decided to cut the mention in the textbooks to the forced mass suicide of thousands of Okinawa civilians during WWⅡ. I think that this mention must not be cut. We have to know the real misery of the war. In order to protect our peace and stop the war, we should not forget the battle in Okinawa and pass the fact from generation to generation.

I agree with you. The number of people who experienced world war is getting smoller and people who did not know the war have to hand down the fear of the war. I think textbooks should let us to know the true.

I agree with you, too. I think the government must not hesitate to teach the truth. Maybe the things Japan did in the history makes Japan look not good. But if we don't try to know the truth people will do the same thing in the future.
