Disguise of consumption time limit

In these days, Some Japanse famous confectionery companies disguised time limit of consumption such as Shiroi-Koibito,Akahuku-Mochi. I think the essence of this problem is that companies have lied consumers. It is a less important thing that the confectioneries go bad or not ,because consumption time limit is unclear. Telling a lie is mostly bad thing.

I am from Hokkaidou so I was surprised when I heard Shiroikoibito which was disguised consumption time limit was being selled. I think food company must be careful of safety first. It is related to costomer's health. I hope company will think of costomers more than their own profits.
