NEET

We talked about NEET in the class of the university. Do you know what they do everday? We discussed it. My opinion is that I cannot imagine. Every morning, I never wake up with clearing the head. But, I want to go to the university or my part-time job, because I like to talk with my friends. I cannot endure that I stay at home all day long.

It is because they depend on cellphone's mamory function. To my surprise,most average women don't remember their boyfriends'phone number though they remember over 5 people's phone number. I think this tendency is very bad. If something happens when they don't have cellphone,how do they do? DO you remember your phone number?

Birth Rate

I heard the news that the birth rate of last year increased after an interval of six years in Soul. The source of this effect seems that the increase of our first marriage and the rust of tendency to rise the age of our first marriage. In addition, the policy of supporting birth by government seems to reap a good fruit. This year is said that the baby who is born this year will be the rich, so we are expecting the birth rate increase than last year.

A great demand for doctors

Now Japan is faced with a great want of doctors, especially in countryside. So the government decided to send doctors to hospitals in Hokkaido, Iwate, Tochigi, Wakayama and Oita. The reason of this problem is the tendency of working for big hospitals in city. And also obstetrician and pediatrician are few because the lisk(many suits) and hard of work keep away from being them. So many measures are taken. For example, universities establish the system the duty of being a local doctor, big hospitals send doctors to small hospitals, government support the women who worked as a doctor to return to their job. The doctors are essential for us, so this problem should be discussed more.

Bad manners in the train

I often see people who cannot obey some manners in the train. What is the manners? I think that we must turn down the volume of chat voice and not use celphone near the priory seats. Recently, it is outstanding that women make up in the train. Of couse, I don't. When I see such people, I feel unconfortable. This season is very wet, so people are easy to be unpleasant. We should take care the manners and keep our motivation!!

I was caught up in the animation that I had watched by accident and bought the original novels and several related goods. Appreciating the work on different media is interesting. We can enjoy the findings of similarity or difference that is descendent points from the original. The world of the work expands increasingly. However, as the media increase, media mix involves a problem. To what extent should the goods of other media catch the original or change its element? I think they can’t perfectly catch it because the media are different. Besides, making use of other media is meaningless if there are no different points from the original. Of course, the changes of fundamental elements on the original spoil the work. I hope that creators understand the original deeply and make a little change matched to the media respecting the original.

English abilities

I've always wondering why I can't speak English fluently though I've been studing it for more than seven years. I'm sure that there are a lot of people who have same feelings as me. In my opinion, if I want to speak it better, I should go abroad to study. However, at the same time, I hope I could be a good English speaker staying in Japan. But, I don't know what I should do unfortunately. So, please tell me the ways to be able to speak English fluently and to improve my English abilities.

Thief

When I went back home, today, my mother told me that our lingeries were stolen by someone!! Around noon, my mother in the room, and jumped at a strange noise and saw out of the window, but nobody was here. After that, she noticed our lingeries was gone. We live in the apartment, and the woman who lives in next door said, she saw a strage man riding the bicycle and wandering around our aprtment. I was very scared to hear that. How well is security maintained in our town. Recently, I often hear the news about strange people, so we have to alert them.

School Expenses

Today I was caught sleeping at class by a foreign teacher. she said that sleeping at class is unbelievable in other countries. It costs about 1,000,000 yen a year for studying in my university, and I have to go to the university 100 days a year. This means that we pay 10,000 yen a day for the university! What a expensive sleeping!... but I don't know whether the classes are worthwhile.

I study about water in various points in my university. I didn't know how much I use it, so I examined the amount of water. I knew much water used everywhere and every day. I also think we can save it. At first I didn't think I can help the world problem, but these days I save on water. Do you believe that there are undiscovered life on the Earth. I believe it, because Earth is so mysterious. Earth is developing day after day, we cannot doubt there are undiscovered life. I read the news at cnn.com. The content of that article was very interesting. "We(sientists) have a plan to put 3 robots under the frozen Arctic ocean due to find new life." Severn Cullis-Suzuki

Good evening. Today, I want to talk about a speech of legend. Do you know Severn Cullis-Suzuki? She is one of the most famous environmental activists in the world and she did a wonderful speech in the Earth Summit in 1992 when she was twelve years old. She appealed to adults to save the environment. When I heard this story from my friend, I couldn’t believe it because she was only twelve years old. But her speech was very good and right. I think she had already understood about crises of the earth. Her speech’s main point is “You should practice things which you were taught from adults in your childhood.” For example, “Don’t contend.” and “Don’t be greedy.”, ”Respect other people.” I agree with her opinion. Summer will be coming soon

Now, it is rainy season, but summer is going to come soon. I'm looking forword to it. But I have a problem which is sun light. Sun light is very strong in summer. We should care our body; especially, our face. I'm afraid of sun ray. In Lapanase, sun ray means Shigaisen. It isn'T good for us. When we go out, we should cover our body with sun block cream. If so, summer season will be more enjoyable!!

Hot Summer

This summer, the temperature will rise higer than ever. In Japan, it is a rainy season now, however, rain hardly falls ercently. I think this summer people will confront with the serious problem of the water. I suppose this crazy weather comes from the global warming. The temperature will rise up higer, people will use air conditioners more. Because of using air conditioners, the green house gasses will be emmitted. This is a vicious cycle. In this summer, even people feel hot, they should refrain from using air conditioners often.

WHO's warning

June 18, WHO published an environmental health standard about electromagnetic wave. According to it, the children who live in over 0.3-0.4 micro-tesla magnetic field have higher risk of suffering leukaemia than the children who live in low magnetic feild. So WHO recommended countries taking precaution. I have heard that cellular phone and microwave oven have electromagnetic wave and those are not good for our body. There are maybe many electronic instruments which have it, so we have to know about that and use them wisely.

Eel prices

I heard that the eel prices will be high because eel are in danger of extinction. I like to eat eel especially in summer. I think somone like eel, too. We eat domestic eel and imported one in Europe. But in Europe, recently the yield of eel is decreasing because they catched so many eels. Perhaps you may think "why don't we breed eel ourselves". Eel are very dificalt species to breed. Their detailed behavior is not understand well. If we can breed eel, we won't affect of high eel prices. We need more high technology and investigation to escape this problem. Probably, price of other species may be high like eel in the future. We have to think not only better human life but also life in all over the world.

The Japan Science and Technology Agency made a child sized robot which is made of flexible joints and soft skin. Its name is CB2. It is look like a child. I imagine robots increase instead of children in Japan. It is like a movie. But, I do not want such a world. This robot has the physical ability of a 1- or 2-year-old child. It can turn over and stand up with assistance. This is amazing! But, I am a little bit scared…

A new law on education starts in 2009. It concerns educator. When this law starts, teachers should update the license. Recently, because the educator had the problem, Prime Minister Abe proposed it. But is it correct answer? I don't think so. The child also has the problem. Children's parents accurately have the problem. There are a lot of parents who do not admit child's wrong. Not only the educator but also people who receive the education should improve consideration to the problem of the education.

Smorking

Are you a smoker? I'm not a smoker. In 2005, tobacco caused 5.4 million deaths. I think it is very learge figure. I don't know why people smoke. I think tobacco is nothing but harm. Do you know second-hand smoke? It is very dangerous to health of people around smokers. It causes cancer, heart disease and many other serious diseases. I have many friends who smoke around me. I'm afraid that I get cancer.

Global Warming

I take logic class in my university every week. This week in the class, he told about the global warming. He said it less possible to melt Arctic glacier and rise the water level. He told us that because average temperature in the North Pole is about -50℃, the 3~5℃ temperature rise doesn't matter. Or, if the Arctic glacier melt, it is froating in the water, so the water level never rise from the beginning. I thought almost the same thing. The average temperature was more high when the dinosaurs lived. I think the globe is in the high tempareture time now. Optimistic to say that people care too much about the global warming. Don't you think so?

President Tanaka in the meat company accepted he had being mixed pork in minced meat for seven years June 21. He and the head of the factory attended interview. At first, he said that he started to that because he was consulted by the head, however the head said that he urged me to do so. To attract more Europeans

Japanese tourism officials launched a campaign named "Cool Japan -Fusion and Tradition-" highlighting the country's contribution to comtemporary arts and culture such as manga(comic books) and animation related attraction. I'm looking forward to rain

The Mereorological Agency was announced the beginning of rainy season. But it keeps sunny days. I thought a moment the season finished. Rain days make me gloomy. On the other hand no rain makes me fear. I aspire to come summer vacation, however I cannot enjoy it if there are no water.

Have you ever joined any kinds of volunteer activities? I have participated in planting flowers activity. I planted many kinds of flowers at the street. At first, I didn't like the activity, because I didn't like insects. There are many bugs in soil. When I began to dig the soil, I saw insects. I was very surprised them, and cried. But I got accustomed to them, because they didn't harm me. Finally, I could enjoy the activity. I also understood that human and other animals live together. By participating some activities, we can find some important things.

I studied the haiku last time. Therefore I watched a haiku and a foreign homepage. There is interesting homepage. The homepage name is "children's haiku garden!". Yesterday, an explosion accident happened at hot spring facilities in shibuya. Three women died of this accident. It is thought that it is because the methane drawn up underground ignites. I saw the image of the accident spot on the television. That was a very miserable sight. I shocked very much because such an accident happened in my familiar place.However, a similar accident seems to have happened several times before. I worry about whether the accident happens again because the number of hot spring facilities has increased in the city recently. I think that we should sutudy of the safety of these facilities more.

There are 218 million working children all over the world. For instance, there is a girl who is working at the stone quarry of 12 hours a day in India. The girl can’t go to school.Japanese usually can’t think in their daily life.I must thank for my situation now.You should also thank for everything.

Is man a god?

Last week, the bill that owner of pets must have the pet receive the operation to prevent conception was passed at California. I think this problem is very difficult. Pets might become happy for receive the operation. But animal have right to live seems to be an animal. I don't know human be permitted this. Such an ethical idea are variously for human . The government shouldn't judge it. If owner have love for ther pets, I think both to be acceptable the pet have receive the operation or not.

Having pets

Do you have pets? I think people tend to have many kinds of pet these days, not only dog or cats but also rare animals like reptile. Having pets often heals us and makes us lovely feelings. But some selfish pet owners easily throw away them! I suppose that pet owners should have responsibilities for their pets and realize that they keep a precious life. I'm angry, because train stop about once a week due to the accident with casualties. I derayed at the class in university with that accident. I think that accident with casualties probably is suicide. I want people to stop suicide. Truthfully, I want to stop suicide by train. This suicide is the most annoying for many people. These actions save a lot of children. But It many cost money to saving children. So campaign to raise funds and contribution from nation are very important. Experts say that they should not do video game 2 hours and over and their parents should watch it. I went to Shibuya yesterday, I found a lot of foreign people. They took pictures in front of hachikou and center-city. They also took pictures of people crossing diagonal intersection. I don't know why many foreigners come to Japan, but they are interested in Japanese cultures. In one famous clothing shop, they can buy clothes without tax. Japan has been an international country. I think the more foreigners come to Japan, the better Japanese economy becomes.

Something unusual happend to the beach in China

On June 12, 2007, the sea washed up massive dead crabs on the beach in China. The locals were delighted at this large catch and rushed there to pick them up. But, the number of crabs increased everyday. Clams, starfishes and seaweeds were also thrown. Now, the beach is covered with a great deal of carcasses and redolent with bad smell. However, the locals go on picking them up. People who live near the beach said that they have never seen such a lot of dead crabs. Also, some saw the drainage with stinks flow into the sea. I was surprised at this news. Don’t the locals have a question that why these crabs had died? If Japanese saw the scene, they wouldn’t approach them, much less eat it. I suspected that Chinese don’t receive the education or information of pollution. Would they eat such polluted crabs? A friend of mine said that they might pick them up to process and export to foreign countries. China is one of the Japan’s big trade partners. Especially, Japan imports foodstuffs. If they conceal the fact and export the foodstuffs made from the polluted crabs――It is horrible! In addition, I was worried that the toxin would ride the current and flow to Japan. I hope that China will handle this problem as soon as possible.

And we can shelter before eruption. But I hope that Mt. fuji dosen't erupt and lost beauty.

Forced Labor in China

About 1000 boys are force to work at black brickyard at Sansei Privince, in China, Chinese newspaper announced. The boys were deceived by certain organization and taken to the brickyard. They are not be given enough food and working over 14 hours. The youngest boy is only 8 years old! Chinese government are now investigating what's going on and searching for kidnapped children. I couldn't believe that this is the real happening. I hope that boys can go back to their home as fast as they can.

Do you aften play internet or video games? If you play it long time and every day, you might be identified disease. An American congress made the study public, it is about intoxication in internet game. I cannot incredible, but actually some people in the world died. She said that there was not a word like MOTTAINAI in any other country, and she would spread MOTTAINAI all over the world. I'm Japanese, so I'm glad to spread our word all over the world. And when she said that she had been impressed by MOTTAINAI, I was proud of our having MOTTAINAI. Our ancestor had the spirit of MOTTAINAI. We Japanese should succeed to the spirit, and I will try to live with having the spirit of MOTTAINAI.

Hi! Now, I am watching the movie which was named Laputa. It was made by Studio Ghibli Inc. and it is one of the most famous animation companies in the world. So I want to talk about Laputa and this company, today. First, I’m going to talk about Laputa. It has many good massages for us. I think it tells us to stop the wars and battles. In addition, the music of this movie is very wonderful. This music was made by Joh Hisaishi and he is very popular artist in Japan. I like his music very much . Next, I want to talk about Ghibli. Their movies received many prizes like Academy Award. But the director of this movie didn’t go to these awarding ceremonies because he didn’t want to get the awards. The Rainy Season

Japan has the rainy season. Usually, it sets in from the west to the east. This year, the time when the season sets in has delayed. The day the season sets in; Kyusyu and Yamaguchi was June 13 and Kanto was 14. The former is 5 days' delay from last year and 8 day's delay as usual. And the latter is 6 days' delay as usual. It is said that this is related with westerly. If the season is short, it is feared that typhoon will increase and Japan will be the water shortage. The rainy season is unpleasant season, but it is essential for our life.

"Study abroad" in the Statoin

There are a lot of advertisements of the English cram school in the train or the backside of the tissue. There are a lot of people who commute there as well. They go to NOVA, ECC or Berlitz etc... They study English once or twice a week for about thirty thousand yen. Howvere, these English schools can be healpful for us in fact? I think maybe NO. I have several friends who is one of the NOVA students. He has commuted there for more than several months, but I cannot see his growth in English from my house. If I can be fluently with these schools, everyone would rush to NOVA. In fact, honestly speaking, I have never heard of getting high levels of English in the cram school. We would not be the good English speaker, except going abraod actually.

Many people complaint about the systems of NOVA and it was stopped the business partly. I was surprised that there are many defects in the systems of NOVA though it is the major English conversation school. I am the student of AEON, and compared it, I feel it is difficult to reserve the lessons at NOVA. The systems of NOVA are complicated. I like CM of NOVA because the character of it, the NOVA rabbit, is very cute and I wanted to go to NOVA at the moment. However, reading the brochure, I thought NOVA costs much money than AEON, so I dicided to go to AEON. The advertisements of NOVA were excessive. By the way, I think AEON is very good. The systems are easier to understand and teachers of native speakers are all friendly. We can enjoy speaking English.

The Indian goverment has tried to supply electricity with all households by the way as Gosaba Island has done, which is to use methane gas from cow dung and the notable anti-global warming device. It has also tried to decrease reliance on fosil fuels for global warming at the same time by developing renewable energy sources while maintaining economic growth. Teaching

I work as a teacher at cram school. I teach English and Japanese. All students are junior high school students. They are young and very energetic. Most students like English and, they are always interested in new English words and grammars. When I see their bright eyes, I can remember my junior high school days. I also loved reading text book. I don't want to forget the intention. Of course, some of my students don't like English. It worries me. They don't like English because, they can't read the words. they also think that they can live without speaking English. I want to tell them that studying English is fun. But how to do it? Yesterday, an incident happened at a home of Odakyu Odawara Line Tokai University station. A woman was caught in a door of a train, and she was dragged round 40 meters. She falls to the track. She was conveyed in a hospital, but is seriously injured. The train urgently stopped, but 150 passengers didn’t have the injury. I laughed a little at this happening. I pray for the hurt this woman.

I found one topic about energy saving. In summer, we often use air conditioner in our room. Too much its using is one of the cause of global warming. Then, the topic suggested the good point of dehumidifier. The cause of our discomfort in summer is humid. If humidity decreases, we feel coolness even there's temperature is 26-27℃. So it is good for saving energy and our electricity rates that we set room's temperature to higher and use dehumidifier. Why don't you use it??

family's holiday

Yesterday I went to Yokohama with my parents. They came from my hometown and they said they want to eat Chinese food and see sea, so I took them to Yokohama. At Yamashita park, there are many people and enjoy seeing sea and playing each other. Then I thought there are many families with their children. When we rode a ship, almost all of crew were families. This situation makes me happy. I also had the experiences that my parents took me everywhere. I think this experience grow up children well.

The punishment of traffic accident become strict. Until today, the heaviest punishment is being in prison for five years. Now it changes from 5 to 7. It may small change, but we have more traffic accident nowadays than ever, so it is good change. I hope it effects well.

The rainy season is beginning. Recently it is humid and the temperature is hot. Besides, we often have rain. But this is because not only rainy season. Actually the Meteorological Agency said "Rani-nya" effect is formed off.It makes the water temperature around Pacific down. If it happens in this season, the temperature get hot and the balk of rain increases in the beginning of summer. But in summer, we can't have enough rain and They alarm about a water shortage. These days many children are taken an examination of junior high, elementary and also kindergarten by their parents. Maybe they are wish for children's happily future however I think they are carrying it too far. Now there is a CD for unborn baby! A year ago, I think, I saw a TV program that order child who will take an examination of elementary school to do some work and count how many child can complete the order. It was just a variety show, however a little girl cried and apologized again and again to her mother and her mother looked angry. I felt scary about it. I wonder that little girl can say her own dream like singer or clerk of flower shop. If I were her, I think it would be hard to find the dream.

We can see many kinds of it in convenience stores and so on. Each tea has different tastes. I like "oi-ocha", is made in Itoen. It has two types, one is nomal type and the other is deeper one. I like the latter, deeper one. Some foreign people don't like green tea, because I think it is bitter for them and doesn't have any sugars. They often drink juice and coke, which are cause of gaining weight. Green tea is very healthy and should be drunk when we have meal. You should drink it every day.

BRAND

Many Japanese people are brand-conscious. Recently, I talked about Japanese fashion with a French friend. She says Japanese fashion is so strange. Japanese people like high quality goods and they think it is valuable for them. But foreign people don’t think like this. For example, Japanese people love bags of “COACH” which is from America because they think it is high-class brand. But this is not true. American people use the bags of this brand with casual wears because they can buy the bags at half price of Japanese price. They use those bags simply. But many Japanese people use this brand’s bags as formal and they show off these bags. It is so ridiculous. I think that Japanese people don’t have confidence in their fashion.

Cellphone

Do you agree to have a cellphone in elementary school? I agree with it because it is good for self-defense. When I was a junior high school student, I had had the cellphone and when I had a cram school, I went home with talking with my brother on the phone. So I felt safe. It is said that it has some violent aspects and it's true, but it also defend ourselves. What do you think?

Segregated disposal

Do you do segregated disposal? My town is very severe this thing. So I sort out burn rubbish, not burn rubbish and plastic. This is very troublesome. But this is very important thing. I think that this become our custom is very good.

Iraq war

Yesterday, the number of American soldiers who died by Iraq war was over 3500. This is a very sorrowful and awful thing. Certaiyl they were alive. They had respective names, they had respective families. Though it was expressed "3500 soldiers died." I think that more people and minds would be killed by this war, it has never expressed in number.

Bullying

I heard the news that the images of bullying were broadcasted on the internet. It made me shock. I can't believe that there are people who likes to see it and enjoy it in Japan. If they cared about the children who are bullied, they could have not do that. To stop it, what can we do?

Smorking

Do you smoke? I'm under 20 years old, so I can't smoke, but if I become 20, I don't some. I don't like the smell of it. I think heavy smokers should cut down the number of cigarettes. It pollutes human's lungs. I can't understand why they smoke. Every time they smoke, their lungs become ill. Someone said human feel relaxed by smoking, but I think it is not good. We can relax with other things. For example, listening to music, playing sports, reading books and so on. I think too much smoking is not good for health. If the smokers want to relax by smoking, they should change their thought, and find another way to relax.

I became 20 two days ago. I can now smoke and drink and make my own credit card. And I know teenagers can do almost the same things. I didn't know the differences between child and adult. Now as an adult, however, I am getting understanding what is adult. Adults are free from the regulation of drinking and smoking etc. , but have to take responsibilities what they did. It's just two days since I became20 so what I can see is very samll, though, I can feel I am changing, and growing in my mind.

I went to the red carpet event for the movie, "300". I met Gerard Butler! He looked better than in the screen. One of his fans had a small national flag of Scotland. Butler is from Scotland, so he looked pleased when he founded the flag. UK people are very sensitive about thier homeland, aren't they?

The Pension

Now, problems of the pension is increacing. According to the sample survey of the pension, some mistakes are found. The number of persons of advanced years are increacing and the number of workers are decreacing, so it is becoming difficult to be managed the system of the pention. I'm going to become 20 years old soon, and have to pay the pention. Now I feel anxiety about this system - can I accept enough money when I become old?

IN THE TRAIN

What do you usually do in the train? I often see people reading a book more than people using cellphone. They seems to read it earnestly, even if it is crowded in the train. I don't care what I do for the time. I listen to my favolite music every day and see out of the train. Between Machida to Huchinobe staiton, there is a beautiful sight we can see. Reading a book or sending e-mail isn't bad thing, but I recommend you to view outside the train. I'm sure that you can be healed.

North Korea shot the missile

North Korea shot two missiles into the Yellow Sea ７ June. These are short range attack missiles. The Japanese government said this attack didn't cause great influence for safety of Japan immediately, so it didn't take alert, for example detachment of the Aegis fleet. The government analyzed these missiles now. North Korea shot the missile also 5 May, but officers in N. Korea said it was one of training. Shots this time are suspected to aim the summit. I think missiles are very dangerous, so I want this country to abandon them. We must remember the tragedy of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I hope N. Korea will abondon missiles and N. Korean government will support their nations.

Return to the Moon

A nickname of the lunar probe which is going to go to the moon in this summer was settled to "Kaguya". Kaguya is the name of the princess of the moon in a Japanese old story. The nickname was decided by vote. Kaguya will go around the moon and examine in detail.

Opening the Earth Summit

In June 6, the Earth Summit started in Germany. The most important theme in this meeting is Global Warming issue. And then, yesterday(opening day) some European countries including Germany and U.S conflicted on this topic. Some European countries want to decrease discharge of greenhouse effect gases, but U.S opposed it. I think we cannot solve this big problem as long as people in the U.S think about it seriously and we cooperate each other to protect our planet. Becouse in the U.S, large quantity of fuels which exhaust greeanhouse effect gases are used, and this problem is our human's responsibility, not only one country's but all countries' in the world.

A mudslide

A world (cultural) heritage in Russia was buried by a mudslide. There is a volcanic zone. A geyser is in there. A ravine was buried almost all. Also, a geyser was buried too. We can't see that anymore. It is littlebit sad. The nature is still changing.

Not a wild boar but a bred pig

There was news that the boy of 11 years had killed a huge wild boar. However, there is possibility that it was not wild boar but bred pig. Though a person bought the pig as a pet, the pig grew up so big that the person sold it to the farm. However, I'm surprised that the pig that grows so much is sold as a pet.

Again

The scandal came to light to the enterprise again. It is an enterprise of nursing. They don't have people's consciousness of living and supporting it. The adult today wishes from the young person today and I wish that it wants you to be steady. People who are working seriously because there is such a scandal lose. I don't understand why they cannot do it though they only have not to do injustice.

Mosquitooooo !!!

I dislike mosquitos. I think everybody dislike mosquitos. I can't allow flying sounds of mosquitos, "puuuuhn". The sounds make me unpleasant. And I heard the people of group O blood is apt to be bitten by mosquitos. I ofen be bitten by mosquitos because I am group O blood. Especially, there are many mosquitos in Hachioji, so I want to guard against mosquitos in summer.

Do you know "Biodiesel fuel"? This isn't "Diesel fuel"! It is a diesel fuel made from cooking oil such as corn. In addition, It seems to be able to produce the biodiesel fuel with the fat of the living thing. For example, chikin...pig...and human! So amazing! If this research advances, an easy creating environment will be able to be done in the earth or more.

Forget means that to be unable to remember things that has happened in the past or information that you knew in the past. Also, For concerning Sb. And get means obtain something. So, "Forget" means forget for get something. Getting elder, there is a little things which has not experienced yet. Maybe, human forgets past events to enjoy own life again.

By volunteers the data that was not known by AMEDAS is developing. The volunteer send data to the Meteorological Agency. The data is the quantity of water in a cap. The cap was distributed to volunteers. There are from 3,000 to 4,000 volunteers in Japan. Today, unstable weather is increasing. This system should be taken in from now on.

I like rock music. I like punk music too. There are rock festival in this summer in japan. Especially, "summer sonic" is exciting! Many foreign rock musician enter the festival. For example, AVRIL LAVIGNE, THE OFFSPRING,SUM 41 and more. Besides japanese rock musician enter the festival too.I think that it is splendid and interchange to other country through music.I want musician to do the world peacefully by music.

Accident for driving with taking a nap is rising now. Moreover, Almost all car that have an accident is truck. As working is hard, drivers of truck can't sleep everyday.　And, that drivers happens accident. It's natural. Sleeping is necessary condition on people's working. So, transportation company should take a measure. Camera that install at car is sold for a measure of safety now. I wish society keep striving for a measure of safety.

For the event related to the Kyoto Protocol,seh knew this words "MOTTAINAI" that the Japanese had been using was impressed when she visit Japan. Birth rate

Today, The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare announced that the total special birth rate in 2006 increased more than the previous year by 0.06 points and it became 1.32. It is after an interval of six years to increase more than the previous year. The factors are business recovers and the number of marriages increased. The population of Japan is a decreasing tendency now, so it is good that the birthrate increased. However, it is said that it doesn't change the matter that it is a decrease tendency for the long term. I worry about the future of Japan because the population decrease greatly influences economy and social issues.

Today, a lot of countries are doing measures for the environment.In Sweden, the plastic bag is charged for 50 years and the child has received the education of the environment from four years old. The recycling rate for garbage is 90%. The all peoples should do measures to environmental problems because it is very serious.

Singapore stoped selling three types Chinese tooth powder, because it contained some toxic substance. Tooth powder is not food, but it is the thing that puts in mouth, so I want tooth powder to be safety. Recently, there are many tooth powder which have effect that make tooth white. I am afraid that such tooth powder contains some toxic substance.

Researchers of Switzerland showed that "biogasoline"is not allways good for nature.They say that the biogasoline which is made from plant reduces over 30 persent of exhaust gas but it affect badly to the environment in process of making the gasoline.To make the gasoline,people use a lot of agricultural chemical so the soil will be bad.And people cut down many forests to expand places to raise the plant which will become materials of the gasoline .That's why they say "biogasoline" is not good. I thought "biogasoline" is a very good idea for the environment before I knew this topic.But I 'm now confusing about what is the solution of global warming.How about you?

Endangerous species

There are many indangerous species in the world. for example, Toki, Condor, Panada etc. Main cause is human being. They cut down trees and hunt these aminal for their business. So the number of these animals is decreasing. But now government is trying to stop this ploblem. So I think It will be settled slowly.

The other day,4 political refgees from North Korea invaded Japan. They boarded a ship, but the ship is little gasoline!!They crossed sea at the risk of their lives. It's very dangerous,however,they need to do to defected from North Korea. As you know,North Korea violates a person's rights. We need to insist on democratization of North korea,consider correspondence to political refgees.

Mt.Fuji

I went to the lake Yamanaka last weekend. There, I saw the beautiful mountain, Mt.Fuji. Mt.Fuji is the highest and one of the most beautiful mountains in Japan. I've wondered why this great moutain has not been designated as a world heritage sight. According to the encyclopedia, Mt.Fuji has been, against the outlook, full of trash in fact. That's why they have not designate it as a world heritage. When I know that fact, I was really sad and sorry. We should have Mt.Fuji more clean and we have to cherish our traditional and beautiful scenery.

Child Labour

Child Labour is very serious probrem. The source of the probrem is POVERTY. Children have to labour to earn a little money. Children cannot be recieved enough education. Because of working hard,they cannot grow up an adult that have health. Sometimes they have to do prostitution. The reason why companies employ children is that they work on cheap wages and that they don't make any complaints. They are meek as a lamb. So they are overworked by thier employer. I don't know what should we do for children. But we must not miss thier unhappiness. I would like to continue to thinking about world peace.

Roma's air is polluted by a hint of Cocaine, Italy national institution CNR announced. According to CNR, now 90,000 Italians are junkie of Cocaine and 2,130,000 people have used Cocaine at least one time. The concentration of Cocaine is not so high and yet it is not threat to human's health, how ever it needs care, they stated. Nowadays Cocaine is known as a dangerous drug though once it was thought as a curative. It is a big trouble that Cocaine is in the air! I don't know Italian know about this survey but I want them to know this news and don't want them to use Cocaine. I was really sad to know this... I love Italy's history and architecture and really want to visit...

The charity auction was held by Sharon Stone. She is a famous actor too. When I heard this news, I was very surprised . This price is too expensive!! But this event is meaningful. So I think it's great.

Meron Existed 2100 Years Ago

In Japan, Shiga prefecture, a meron was excavated. It seems that it existed 2100 years ago! I was very surprised! They say that seeds of meron have ever been excavated, but skins and fruit of meron have never been excavated, and it is the oldest of all of the world. I didn't know that seeds of meron have been excavated. I have had interest in excavation since I heard this news. In Japan, 2100 years ago is the Yayoi period, so people in the Yayoi period had been eating meron! It was different from what I have expected. I didn't like studies of the history, but it is very interesting when I see the history from these excavation. I want to know what people living in 2100 years ago thought when they ate merons.

TV and Appetite

It is finded that the TV effects appetite. Enjoying theTV is increased appetite. One reaserch foundation published this result. The way is this. one people are watching the popular TV program and eating potato chip. The others are only eating potato chip. which do they eat more potato chip? People watching popular TV program eats potato chip more. When people concentrates eating is early to be enough.

ZARD

The other day, Ms. Sakai, a vocal of ZARD died in the hospital. She is said to have fallen off steps accidentally. I like ZARD and have its best album, so I was very very sad to hear the news. ZARD released some popular songs, such as "Makenaide", "My friend", "Yureruomoi" and so on. If you don't know these songs, you should buy ZARD' CDs. After her death, the CDs are sold more. By the way, did she really die accidentally. According to one newspaper, she killed herself because handrails of steps in the hospital are high. She had cancer and was suffering badly from it. I think she committed suicide because of cancer. Anyway, her death causes big grief to many people in Japan.

A crab of a Russian product

May 31, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries announced that Russia forbade exporting the crabs which we fished in Russia. The crab lived. The reason is resources protection. We depended approximately 100% king crab (16,425t), a hair queen crab 91.7% (3,632t) by 2006. I think that this influence is big. We may not be eaten a crab in the future.

Precious Ice

Do you know the song, “I Am the Walrus “? This song was written by The Beatles. I like this song very much because it is very cool and I love walruses. And today I am going to talk about the Arctic which has many cute walruses. Recently, I watched a documentary program on TV. This program said about the global warming. Many animals live with the ice of the Arctic. But this ice began to melt and many animals are in trouble. Polar bears hunt their prey by using a piece of ice. In other words, they hunt their prey as they make their way with the help of ice. But much ice melted and these bears can’t use it. So they will die. I feel very sad because we melted the Arctic ice. I want to stop this problem. I think that we have to think about many animals life.

What do you think about "a religion" ?

There are number of religion. Do you have any religion? I come of an irregilion family, but my sister held a wedding celemony in a church and my family's funeral was held in accordance with Buddhist rites.Is what I say full of inconsistencies? Sometimes, religion is apt to be misunderstood from people who don't know it well. I'm sure of it, but to put it in an extreme way, fortune-telling is a kind of religion, I think. We can feel it close to one.

Have you used a mail order service? I sometimes buy clothes from a mail-order house. It is very convenient, I think. Some people make good use of it, but other still have a lot of misunderstanding. A mail-order service has both advantages and disadvantages. For example, advantages is you can buy what you want at home. Disadvantages is you cannot judge a commodity is good or bad. You're controlled by a limited information. Do you want to try mail-order services, or not?

Photochemical Smog

The other day I watched the news on TV that photochemical smog warning was alarmed in Yamaguchi prefecture and north the Kyushu district. That day was heat wave that the top temperature was above 35 ℃. Many elementary school was going to hold an athletic meeting that day. However because of photochemical smog, the meeting was put off. When I was pupil I was looking forward to going in for the athletic meeting. We should take care not to become the case and cooperate with ecology movement.

Marriage

Norika Fujiwara, a Japanese famous actress, held a wedding reception. People find the best partner and marry him or her. Usually, people don't think the marriage style and think it is natural that people marry one person. However, I learned that there are some marriage style in the world in the class of cultural anthropology. In Japan, monogamy is enacted in the law and maybe most of countries in the world are same. But some countries admit polygamy; man or woman have plural spouses. For this, people's life and culture are very differnt. I was very surprised because the thing what I thought natural was different there. However it is natural that many systems are exsited. We should not conceive a prejudice against them and have to understand. I think I am happy to know that.

Dialects

Hello! I'm a Japanese University student. These days I'm interested in dialects. There are many languages in the world, and there are much more dialects in the earth! I have a friend who has dialect. She is from Aichi. She often speaks standard Japanese, but sometimes she says dialect. for example, she says "dera" which means "very". I'm very interested in it, because I don't use dialects. I live in Saitama so I always speak standard Japanese. My friend don't like her dialect, but I think dialects is proud thing, because it is only one language in the world. My friend should speak her dialect more often, I think. Do you know any other dialects? Tell me!

Reading Japanese Literary Works with Nintendo DS

I heard the video game software “Ichido ha yondeokitai nihon bungaku hyakusen” (“the 100 Works of Japanese Literature that You Have to Read Once”) of Nintendo DS. It is a collection of famous Japanese literary works in the Meiji, Taisho and Showa period. With Nintendo DS we can read Ryunosuke Akutagawa's “Rashomon”, Sosuke Natsume's “Bocchan”, Ogai Mori's “Maihime”, for example. Besides, we can chage the size of letters or BGM and read its outline. The price is about 4,000 yen. What do you think of it? I agreed to this software. Certainly, I feel that we will have a poor eyesight if we always watch a liquid crystal display. But we can control the time to use it. Also, there are some good points of it. First, this software records 100 literary works. It is convenient to carry and we can read it easily while we wait for the next train. Second, everyone including children or old people can read it. Even if you have no time to go to library, this software doesn't need it. And, it might be easy than collecting books. Finally, it goes with times. Recently, some junior high school have started the attempt to study English words with Nintendo DS in Japan. Young people read novels with cellular phone. If “the collection of good old Japanese picture books” or “the collection of literary works in the textbooks” are released, I want to buy them.

Chinese Medicine

Last year,many people in Panama were killed by medicine which was made in China.And recentry,a fact was revealed that the medicine included a toxicity material.Many people was shocked because the medicine was ditributed by the government of Panama.Because of this medicine,over 100 people was killed.It's too terrible.I think that government has to check import more strictly.What do you think?

"My" goods.

Some people write about the bags that you get when you go shopping to supermarket or convenience store. Many people try not to use the plastic bags now. And now, a trial to use "my chopsticks" has started at some convenience stores. The purpose is to decrease of using disposable chopsticks and save the trees. And those have many kinds of colors and designs to make people want to use it. When you eat a box lunch, how about using your own chopsticks?

Happy birthday to me

I will be 20 in a week. It is the age of becoming an adult. However, what is the difference between birthday and the day before? I am a child today and tomorrow is an adult? It is allowed to drink in this island being 20. It is allowed to smoke in this far east country being so called "adult". It is hard for me to be an adult in a day, I think. I will be 20 in a week. I do not know what is "adult" because I am an child now. I am preparing for my birthday holding a lighter and a corkscrew in my hands.

Whaling

In the general meeting of IWC, goverment of Japan proposed that traditional whaling in Japan are lifted in limited areas, however, foreign countries which have contrary opinions criticized one after another. It should be difficult to be passed this proposal. I think whaling relates to traditional Japanese culture, so I agree that. What do you think?

HIV

Today, I heard a news that the number of HIV infectious disease is increasing in Japan. I heard that the number of them is 1000 people and over for the last three years. I was surprised to hear this news. It seems that Japan is an only country to increase the number of HIV infectious disease in advanced country. I had thought that HIV has no concern with us and I think that most of people in Japan think like me. That's why the number of them is increasing. I think that we should change our mind and take care about it.

The minister committed suicide

I was surprised that the minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries committed suicide. He killed himselm without carrying out the responsibirity. He left "the politics and money problems". I can't believe that one of the first men did such a irresponsible attitude. I'm irritated and ashamed. He was very thoughtless. I'm disappointed with the Cabinet headed by Abe.

Rain

It was a hard rain. I feel the rain season become earlier than last year. I misunderstand the fact. It is already June! Recently I have been busy, so I cannot notice it. Beginning of the school term makes me dull. I want to enjoy the nature. Rain is beautiful. So, I am looking forward to watching outside from windows.

Pirate

The other day, the latest series of the "Pirate of Caribbean" was showned. By the grace of it, pairate is noticed again. You often see the Jolly Roger and big pirate ship. But think carefully. If you watch the Jolly Roger on a voyage, what do you do? I will escape from occasion. How about you? If pirete ride on the big ship which flying skull mark, they could not rob the other ship of the treasure easily. In reality, Pirate preferably used small ordinary ships Surely, pirate used big pirate ship too. But it is really rare case. So when you watch "Pirate of Caribbean", you should have to watch it carefully.

Film festival in Cannes

Japanese derector, Naomi Kawase received grand prix in film festibal in Cannes. It is a glad and wonderful thing. Her film's scene is Nara,Japan. It is said that the image is very beautiful, so I become to watch it.
