Event in a taxi

This event happened in Germany. A man who had tried to deprive a taxi driver of purse was deprived of his purse by the taxi driver oppositely. The taxi driver who had got back his purse drove the man out from the car, keyed the car, and called the police. It seems that the police that had arrived at the scene were surprised to see a man who had been waiting patiently on the side of the car. I was surprised at this event, too.
