Manga Nippon
As you know, Japan is famous for Manga. Some people thinks manga has negative infuluence on young people or manga causes children not to read books. But now, manga is real Japanese culture and it has many positive aspects.
Recently, "manga cafe" is getting popular in France and there are various "Tankobon" of manga. French people can know about Japan through reading manga. So manga is a right tool to let people to know about Japan.
A French woman said " I know the Japanese life and some problems in Japan such as the entrance examination war or bullying by manga. After I read manga, I got interest in Japan".
Manga is a reliable souce of information about Japan.

I did not know "manga"'s effect in France!!
It is good thing to imform about Japan by "manga" because it is easy to read and easy to understand.

Its really easy way to let people in other countries know about Japan and Japanese culture.
But one thing Im worry about is that people in other countries might think every Japanese people are "Otaku" and go to net cafe...I hope not lol
I think “manga” are easy to read for non-Japanese people because there are a lot of pictures . But it seems that there are some difficulties . I read “Sazaesan” in English and some words said about proper Japanese occasions could not completely translated into English because there were no English words to paraphrase that Japanese occasions. I think “manga” are very effective way to non-Japanese people know about Japan , but they also have difficulties to tell non-Japanese people what Japan is like completely .
