(1995-2003) Over 50% of people were living on less than $1 a day in Niger, Nigeria, Uganda and other some African countries.
In worldwide, 1.1 billion people were living on less than $1 a day in 2001.
Then, how about Japan? Thesedays, also in Japan, some people mentions a cleavage in Japanese society between the rich and the poor. But I feel we can easilly get food and waste food easilly in our consumption-oriented society. I am sure that it is necessary to notice that we waste things around us in daily life.
