Japanese opinion on China

With the Olympics just around the corner, China is working to improve their estimation. In the questionnaire, the question “do you think Beijing Olympics will succeed?” 46% of Japanese answered “yes”, and people who answered “no” were 41%. On the other hand, U.S. people who think Olympics will succeed were 81%, and who think not were only 9%. For Japan, in twenties, thirties, and fifties, the number of people who answered “no” was over the number of people who answered “yes.” Especially, in twenties, people who think the Olympics will not succeed reached to 60%. I think as Japan had experienced Chinese bad behavior in soccer games or in other sports, although their relationship is exceptional, people became more anxiety about China.
