S. Korea chooses pragmatism over ideals

Wednesday's presidential election in South Korea ended with a landslide victory for Lee Myung Bak of the conservative Grand National Party. Lee won nearly 50 percent of the votes, despite being exposed to a barrage of criticism from other candidates who alleged he was implicated in various scandals--circumstances that led to him being dubbed the "suspicion superstore."

I was really surprised to the nickname suspicion superstore!! Since I do not notice about the winner Lee so much, I wonder criticizing others really means that he should take the place of the president. His sppech content must be filled with competitors who are the third person. He can no more blame responsiilities to others and he must compete with his own thoughts and personality fronm now on.
