77 billion yen for the bonus

The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Goldman Sachs, the major investment banking firms, Lloyd C. Blankfein will receive the total of 67.9 million dollars (about 77 billion yen) for this year’s his bonus. According to Wall Street Journal, this is the greatest amount of remuneration in all executives of American financial institution. Due to the irrecoverable of subprime loan, other two major firms, Morgan Stanley and Bear Stearns have announced that executives gave up their bonuses. In spite of the subprime loan problem, Goldman Sachs has brought a profit and that decided the issue. 77 billion yen for just the bonus. It’s incredible.
