In the proposal for the last report of the Kyoto protocol, the government passed up the new systems and regulations like the environmental tax. Though the minister of environment wants to regulate new environmental systems to achieve the goal of the kyoto protocol, the minister of economy insists that these regulations would have unwelcomed influences on Japanese economy.Actually we have to cut 70-80% of CO2 to save the earth, but even Kyoto protocol is so far from stopping global warming. So I feel we have to recognize the seriousness of actual situations, and give pressures to the government to make effective regulations for global warming.
