COOL BIZ

It has been three years since Japanese government recommend "cool biz". "Cool biz" is wearing tin cloths without ties in summer instead of using air conditioner to reduce CO2. In this summer, we reduced 1,400,000 ton CO2 thanks to this system. Although environmental problems are very big, I think we may solve some environmental programs if each of us has conscious for these problems.

I was surprised at this result.
I also take part in this program a little this summer.

I agree to your opinion. To reduce CO2, not only government but also each citizen has to take this problem more seriously.
I heard Germany are getting very close to the goal set in Kyoto protocol. Japan should follow Germany.
