Путин(Puchin?) the man of the year

In this 19th, American most famous magazine, TIME has selected "Путин(Puchin)" for the man of the year. "Man of the year" is kind of a prize that will given to a man who has made most big effect to the world. The reason why he was chosen is that he returned Russia to powerful country after Cold war's weakness by using his greatful leadership. There are many controversal opinions like "he is not the man who made democratic nation like what US wants" or "he didn't made real freedom of speech". Anyway, it is true that he was the great leader of Russia.
