Extrermination of Kangaroos in Australia

It was planned to exterminate a lot of kangaroos in the subrbs Canberra, Australia, because kangaroos have eaten much grass in areas, where were damaged from drought and that makes serious problems, for example, the ecosystem is being threatened. At 2 military facilities, about 3200 kangaroos are going to be killed by professional hunters. However, the organization, protecting animals criticized this plan and I have the same opinion. I hope anoter solutions escaping killing kangaroos because they are alive as well as us.
