Musical instruments

I researched musical instruments in order to finish my writing handout. During the research, I was surprised that some of the origins of musical instruments were weapons! Especially, the original of stringed instruments was bow which was the weapon to kill the animals. In ancient times, people found that it made sounds when they released an arrow. This is the origin of stringed instruments. Also, percussion was the weapon, too. People used the original to threaten the animals by tapping and knocking it. It is intresting that weapons could be the musical instruments that make us relax and bring us peace. It seems to be paradox, but thanks to the ancient people, we can enjoy great music by playing these musical instruments.
