Romans do

Hi! Today, I’ll talk about strange Japanese customs to Europe people! One of the big differences which I think are well-known is whether we take off shoes or not when we enter a house. In general, most of us put off our shoes. However, in America it’s very rude. Because American people hate to have others walk around with smelly socks while Japanese hardly care about such a thing. We mainly care about someone’s dirty shoes! This differences come from the way of thinking. If we visit a house in America, it is proper to do “when in Rome, do as the Romans do”.
