APEC forum in Hanoi

Summit talks held among leaders of 21 countries of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) in Hanoi, where Abe has accidentally wore traditional Vietnamese ao dai costume. Even though the declaration included no mention of North Korea's nuclear weapons program, 21 leaders of APEC criticized North Korea for its recent nuclear test. For all APEC members, North Korea's disarmament has been a great concern. Another important point is that U.S. government proposed to create a Free Trade Area of the Asia-Pacific (FTAAP). However, Asian people generally take time to make consensus, so the idea of FTAAP is unlikely to be realized anytime soon. I'm interested in Asia-Pacific area because our peace and our development are closely connected to the situation of Asia-Pacific. By making economic relationships and by keeping peace, we should create a new strong community here in Asia-Pacific and overcome our identity problem.
