Green energy contributers decreasing

Hello. Today, I read an article related to environmental issue. According to industrial officials, a fund for renewable energy such as solar and wind energy is losing contributers. You might not know this, but there's a system where indivisuals and bussineses can donate moneyalong with their electricity bills. This system has started in 2000 to expamd the budget for costly green energy. However, due to decrease in number of donaters, the amount of money donated will drop to about 650 million yen, 90 million yen lower than last year. As you know, there's no limit to renewable energy whereas fossl fuels only last for another 50 years. With these type of enegy, we don't have to worry about loosing energy. Green energy is also less harmful for the environment. But what happenes if the subsidies for promoting them decreases? It would be impossible to provide enough energy to houses and buildings after using up all the fossil fuels. I thought we should realize the importance of such energy before it's too late.
