Thank you manner

Hi! This time, I would like to write my personal opinion! First, I have a question to all you guys. "Do you usually say "thank you", when you leave a restaurant you visited?" Today, I had a part time job at restaurant, but only few people said "thank you" to us. Recent Japanese don't have a feeling for appriciate to others?! We all work hard to come up to customer's expectations!!We all want to offer good service for customers.!But only a few people said us "thank you." I think it is a shocking phenomenon. So the request for you all is; to be a polite customers! Your "thank you"encourage all employees and make them happy! see-ya:)
