Baby Postbox

I saw one interesting news story in this morning. One hospital (I think Jikei hospital) decide to set up a "baby postbox". According to the TV show, the baby post is like a big postbox(letter box). The postbox has air-conditioing and heating system, also alarm which tells nurses if someting into the box. This postbox is for deserted babies. The parent who couldn't grow his/her baby in many reasons can bring the baby and leave it in the postbox secretly; then the nurses pick up and care it afterward. In Germany these postboxs have already adopted. A German doctor said in the TV show that they were glad to set it up because they could save the life of baby, not killed by leaving it cold outside. However to put these kind of boxes maight encourage parents to give up raising their children. And Japan has not developed its adoption system. So there is another concern how to raise the children who have been put in the postbox. How do you think about it? I think to put the box is better than to do nothing... Please tell me your idea.
