The Star Festival

Japan has five seasonal festival, the Boy's Festival on May 5, the Girl's Festival on March 3 and so on. One of this, there is the Star Festival on July 7. This event's history is very old and it has been held since Nara era. It is said that the two stars which are in both ends of the Galaxy meet once a year on July 7 and if we wish a dream to the stars, it comes true. We write our wish on oblong card and tie up it with bamboo leaf. This is a very romantic custom. Now I wonder what I will wish.
