Medical Error

These days, we often hear news about medical error. On 21st December in Niigata University hospital, doctor mistook incision right and left of skull. He opened 2 parts mistakely. The hospital announced that we apologize to the patient and his family sincerely, but they denied that the patient did not become worse because of their mistake. I thought although it might not be their fault deteriorating his condition, I would be very worried. Since we do not have enough knowldge about medical treatment, we trust doctor so that making mistake would makes us very nervous. Since doctors treat people's life, they must be very carefull.
