What day is today??

Today is Japanese emperor's birthday. Recently we are likely to regard as a just holiday, I think we have to celebrate his birthday. It is because the only emperor can do diplomatic actions without poritical actions. and Japan is minor group who has the empror and a long history of it. When I was a child, I couldn't understand why the empror is so important. but now I feel the exsistance of emperor is valuable for Japan. and it is a wonderful thing to make a pure realtionship with other countries by the emperor.
